A Quick Note about Our New Blog

Posted by Alan on June 30, 2008 11:19 AM | Filed in Miscellaneous | Comments (2)

In an effort to engage the community in open, constructive conversation about the Fayetteville School District and the city itself, we've created a blog through which we hope to discuss matters important to both the district and concerned citizens; share exciting developments as they relate to our schools and community; and exchange ideas in a positive way.

We have a lot going on right now.  In addition to the launch of our new site, there's an important discussion underway as to the future of Fayetteville High School, and our search for a superintendent to succeed Dr. New continues.

We want your feedback about the new site.  Feel free to explore and submit feedback through the Site Feedback link found in the footer on each page.

A note about comments:  To keep the conversation as open as possible, we're not requiring registration in order to comment.  All that's needed is a name and valid email.  Please note that comments will be moderated to keep profanity and other inappropriate material off the site.

Thank you for taking time to visit our new site and for taking a moment to share your thoughts.  We look forward to the conversation.

Good job FPS! This is a fantastic step in the right direction and I look forward to more technology-enabled interaction between the school district and our community.

Kudos to your design team, too. The new site is a much needed improvement!
