Best Is Constantly Evolving

bestinclass.pngAs today's Northwest Arkansas Times points out: "The idea of what's 'best' is always evolving. Residents needn't get carried away with the theories proposed in one book by one author."

We couldn't agree more.

The Fayetteville School District's research that formed the foundation of Project21C did not start and stop with Tony Wagner. Over two years ago, a secondary school reform committee made up of teachers, principals, and administrators were assigned to do independent research. This committee's research and outcomes (Profile of a 21st Century Student) and Fayetteville community leader's feedback (community.leaders.21c.doc) are located on the R3 web site at http://schoolcenter.fayar.net/education/dept/dept.php?sectionid=3249.

The newly formed committee assigned to Project21C http://www.fayar.net/community/project21c.html is using the relevant pieces of prior research in its new charge.
