Wordigo.pngRiverEdge Gaming Company, the Fayetteville-based company that created the award-winning Wordigo board game, has donated 3,600 copies of the game to the Fayetteville School District. Every fifth and sixth grade student in the district will receive a free copy of the game. The retail value of the donated games is $72,000.

Philip Zweig, the CEO of RiverEdge and the inventor of Wordigo, is an active parent in the Fayetteville School District, having twice been named volunteer of the year by his son's elementary school. Zweig also created "Zero the Hero," a character who visited school classrooms to talk about math and science in fun and creative ways.
