CollegePrep101Logo.png

Fayetteville High School is conducting a free college preparatory enrichment program (CPEP) for our area beginning June 15th at Fayetteville High School from 8:00 am until noon, four days a week for five weeks.  This course is designed to help students raise their ACT scores above the remediation level or possibly into the scholarship range.  This intensive course will focus on the math, english, science reasoning, reading and test taking techniques for the college entrance exam, ACT.  Several full length timed practice tests will also administered.  Current juniors and seniors of Fayetteville, Greenland, West Fork, Huntsville, and Elkins High School are encouraged to apply for enrollment.

By raising their scores above the remediation level (19) students will save time and money in college by eliminating the need to take remediation courses that provide no college credit.  With satisfactory completion of this course, students may take a FREE ACT exam on July 17th, 2010.

Eligible students may enroll on a first-served basis by calling Dawn Norman at Fayetteville High School 445-1173 for an enrollment form.  Forms are also available in the counseling offices of Fayetteville, Greenland, West Fork, Huntsville, and Elkins High Schools.  The deadline to sign up will be May 27th, 2010.  The first meeting for CPEP classes will be in the FHS library at 8:00 am, June 15th.
