FHS Teacher Named Educator of the Year by Arkansas Sierra Club

Connie_Crisp.pngFayetteville High School teacher Connie Crisp has been named the 2010 K-12 Educator of the Year by the Arkansas Sierra Club. Crisp coordinates the Green Teams for the Fayetteville School District where students get hands-on experience in reducing environmental impact, recycling, and sustainability.

In making the award, the Arkansas Sierra Club said, "Through her efforts, she has the potential to touch literally every student in the district with education and programs that promote environmental protection." Congratulations, Connie!

Congradulations! You deserve it! Your enthusiasm for what you do is so contagious! The Asbell Green Team enjoyed their visit to the beautiful Fayetteville Botanical Gardens and hearing what the other schools were doing. Thanks so much for all you do!
