Ramay Principal Invited to Speak at Washington, DC Panel on College and Career Readiness

SaferiteDC1.pngRamay Jr. High principal Matt Saferite participated in a panel discussion entitled "College and Career-Ready Students: The Role of School Leaders" in Washington, DC in the Hart Senate Office Building on April 7. The event was sponsored by the MetLife Foundation and the National Association of Secondary School Principals. Click here for a larger photo.

Other participants on the panel included Sheila Harrity, Principal, Worcester Technical High School (Massachusetts); Phillip Lovell, Vice President of Federal Policy, Alliance for Excellent Education;  and John Nori, Director of Program Development, National Association of Secondary School Principals.

Ramay Junior High School and Worcester Technical High School were recognized by the Breakthrough Schools project as schools that have exemplified the core areas of collaborative leadership, personalization, and access to a rigorous and differentiated curriculum for all students.
