thielemann2.pngFHS graduating senior Reagan Thielemann recently donated $80.25 to the Fayetteville Animal Shelter for her Service Learning class final project.  Reagan collected spare change from students and teachers during her last week of school to donate to the shelter.  She requested her donation go toward lowering the adoption fee for senior animals at the shelter.

Students in the high school Service Learning class select and design their own final service project at the end of each semester.  Other final projects this semester have included recycling workshops at the Senior Activity and Wellness Center and Boys and Girls Club, talking with middle school students about bullying, creating a club for hearing impaired students, and landscaping and gardening projects throughout the school district.
