Fayetteville mayor Lioneld Jordan spoke to Ramay Jr. High students on Tuesday to help kick-off the "Ramay Rocks the Vote" campaign, which is sponsored by Ramay Student Council. The campaign will focus on teaching students the democratic process and the importance of voting. From Wednesday, October 17 through Wednesday, October 31, Ramay students can register to vote in the cafeteria during lunch. The culminating event will be a school-wide mock election on Friday, November 2. All registered student voters can participate in the mock election.
