FPS Wins 5 Awards from National School PR Association

nspra_logo_0.pngThe National School Public Relations Association has presented five awards to the Fayetteville Public Schools as part of NSPRA's 2013 Awards program. FPS was given awards for the following:

FHS Grad Wins Scholarship to Wake Forest

STARK_MARLEE-WF.pngFHS Class of 2013 graduate Marlee Stark is the recipient of the Penelope W. and E. Roe Stamps IV Leadership Scholar Award to attend Wake Forest University in the fall. The four-year scholarship is one of the most selective in the nation. Each winner receives an annual stipend covering the costs of tuition, room, board and personal expenses plus grant opportunities for summer research, travel and international study.

Stamps Scholars are recognized as exceptional students who exemplify leadership, perseverance, scholarship, service, and innovation. The scholarship was established at Wake Forest in 2012 by the Stamps Family Charitable Foundation, Inc.

Marlee is the daughter of Larry Stark and Claudine Stark.

Parents Asked to Take Technology Survey

onlinesurvey.pngFPS has contracted with an external evaluation team from to complete a comprehensive review of instructional technology programming and delivery. The team is conducting off-site interviews, document review, and data analysis. They will also administer teacher/parent/student surveys to solicit information and feedback regarding the strengths and weaknesses of instructional technology in the Fayetteville Public Schools.

All answers will remain anonymous and survey information will only be reported in aggregate.
