School Choice Information for 2014-15 School Year

Act 1227 of 2013 allows parents to apply for admission for their child to attend a school in any district beyond the one in which the parent resides. Any parent residing outside the Fayetteville School District that desires to send their child to the Fayetteville School District beginning with the 2014-15 school year may obtain an application in the superintendent's office located at 1000 Bulldog Blvd.

If a student seeks to attend a school in a non-resident district for the 2014-15 school year, the student's parent must submit an application to the non-resident district with a copy to the resident district. The application must be submitted on the form approved by the Arkansas Department of Education. The application must be postmarked no later than June 1, 2014.

Applications do not have to be resubmitted for students currently attending Fayetteville School District schools under the School Choice Act.
