Fall Adult Education Class Schedule Announced

AdultEd4sized.pngFAYETTEVILLE, Ark.--The fall 2014 schedule of classes has been announced for Fayetteville Adult Education. Student testing, in-take, and orientation will be held from Tuesday, August 12 to Friday, August 15, 2014. The first day of classes will be Monday, August 18.

"We are encouraging students to visit our center between August 12 and 15 and complete the enrollment process prior to the first day of class," said Dr. David Deggs, director of adult education for Fayetteville Public Schools. "We offer morning, afternoon, evening, and distance learning classes to meet the needs of adult learners in Fayetteville and southern Washington County."

Fayetteville Adult Education provides basic academic skills, GED® test preparation, English as a second language, distance learning, job readiness, college preparation, and citizenship classes. Classes are held at the main center at 612 South College in Fayetteville and at outreach sites in Fayetteville, Elkins, and Lincoln.

Deggs further stated, "Fayetteville Adult Education has a strong track record of helping adults reach their goals since 1965. During that time, Fayetteville Adult Education has assisted many adult learners complete high school, make the transition to college, get a better job, and learn the English language."

Fayetteville Adult Education classes are free of charge and open to adults 18 years of age and older. Fayetteville Adult Education provides equal access to all programs and activities.
