FHS Parade of Champions, Moving Up Assembly

Posted by Alan on May 10, 2012 4:19 PM | Filed in News | Comments (0)

debate-parade.pngmovingup.pngFayetteville High School combined two events today that signal the school year is almost finished. The Parade of Champions was held at Harmon Field, and student groups in every area that won a first or second place in a state competition were recognized.

Following the parade, the Moving Up Assembly, which has quickly become a tradition at FHS, was held on the field. The faculty formed a gauntlet through which the seniors walked, stopping to hug and thank their teachers. Juniors and sophomores watched, and the juniors then took places in the Senior bleachers.
